The government launches new payments for internally displaced persons: who will receive compensation
The government of Ukraine plans to expand the support program for internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba noted that new payments for this category of citizens will amount to 180 million dollars for 3,700 families. In total, more than 120,000 families have already benefited from the 'eRecovery' program, and by the end of the year, their number may increase to 60,000.

Over the past year, the 'eRecovery' program has expanded its capabilities by providing compensation to internally displaced persons for damaged housing and reconstruction on their own plots. Remote inspections of housing in combat zones have also been introduced, which will facilitate the expansion of this service in areas with potential risks. The largest volume of the program is the recovery of damaged housing, and so far, over 97,000 families have received compensation totaling 9.8 billion hryvnias. Internally displaced persons are also given the opportunity to receive compensation in the form of certificates for purchasing new housing, as well as to use the mobile application 'where Assistance' that provides information on state and charitable support.
The government continues to expand the support program for internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories to provide them with the opportunity to receive compensation for damaged housing and ensure support in rebuilding their future.
