According to hvylya.net: The National Bank of Ukraine is actively studying the possibility of ceasing the circulation of 10 kopeck coins. It is indicated that there is no longer a significant demand for them, and they may be withdrawn from cash circulation to reduce costs associated with them.
According to the plan, the phased withdrawal of these coins will begin on October 1, 2025. All banks will accept them from the population and businesses but will no longer return them to circulation, transferring them for disposal to the NBU. In monetary calculations, amounts will be rounded up if there are no 10 kopeck coins, while cashless payments will remain unchanged.
