According to hvylya.net: The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained that the new rules for obtaining housing subsidies for orphanages make this process much easier. Now children in foster families and large families can receive a subsidy even in the case of a small debt for utility services. The maximum allowable amount of debt is now 4000 hryvnias, which corresponds to half of the minimum wage.

Special attention is paid to situations where new tenants in orphanages inherit debts for utility services from previous residents. Now this debt will not be an obstacle to receiving a subsidy.

In addition, when considering applications for a subsidy, property, the presence of funds in children's accounts, or expenses for children's goods will not be taken into account, if these expenses are documented. The approach to determining the composition of the household has also been changed, which will help avoid misunderstandings and deficiencies in the process of receiving a subsidy.

If the new rules are adopted, obtaining subsidies for orphanages will be significantly simplified, which will alleviate the financial burden on families and help provide comfortable conditions for raising children.
