Moldova warns of the threat of Russian invasion: how elections will affect Ukraine

According to hvylya.net: President of Moldova Maia Sandu expressed serious concerns about the possible threat from Russia ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections. She warned that if pro-Russian forces win, the country could become a launch pad for Russian troops, threatening the security of the entire region. Sandu urged citizens not to allow politicians who jeopardize the country's future to come to power.

However, Prime Minister Dorin Recean also warned about the risk of election fraud and the active influence of Russia on the political scene. Together with the ruling party 'Action and Solidarity', they emphasized the importance of a victory for pro-Western forces that uphold European values and integration into the EU.

Due to a series of searches and the detection of attempts by Russia to interfere in the country’s political processes, Moldova faces significant challenges. In particular, there are fears that pro-Russian forces may collaborate with Russia to destabilize the situation in the region, threatening the security not only of Moldova but of all Eastern Europe.
