From pensioners to IDPs: The Ministry of Finance financed all social programs
According to hvylya.net: The Ministry of Finance reported that it successfully financed social payments during the first half of the year.
A total of 191.5 billion UAH from the state budget was spent on these purposes. In particular, 113.5 billion UAH was used for pension payments, while 32.8 billion UAH was allocated for the social protection of citizens in difficult situations.
'These funds are intended to support the programs of the Pension Fund,' emphasized the Ministry of Finance.
In addition, assistance was provided to more than 750 thousand individuals, including veterans. The government also allocated funds for supporting low-income families, assigning benefits and housing subsidies, as well as for the social protection of children and persons with disabilities.
'We continue to provide financial support and assistance to those in need to make citizens' lives better,' summarized the Ministry of Finance.
In the first half of the year, the Ministry of Finance successfully ensured pension payments and social protection for citizens, providing assistance to many people in difficult life situations.
