Sukhanov on childbirth benefits: It's irresponsible and stupid

According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian TV presenter and journalist Oleksiy Sukhanov expressed his criticism regarding state benefits for childbirth. He believes that the current benefits system is ineffective, as it encourages parents to have children only for financial gain. Sukhanov suggests instead creating a deposit for children that will grow with interest until adulthood, as well as implementing a social package for children with guaranteed places in kindergartens and schools.

Thus, Oleksiy Sukhanov's criticism of state benefits for childbirth aims to improve the support system for families, rather than motivate parents towards irresponsible spending of financial resources.
