According to hvylya.net: Russian occupiers have decreased the use of armored vehicles due to the high risk of their destruction by Ukrainian drones. They are now actively using light automotive equipment, drones, and electronic warfare means. This information was reported by the National Guard of Ukraine Ruslan Muzichuk.

During the summer battles, Russian losses in armored vehicles were noticeably lower than before. In August, the enemy lost only 110 armored fighting vehicles, whereas from January to April this number rose to about 600. Ruslan Muzichuk explained that the opponent is utilizing more infantry groups and automotive equipment due to the short lifecycle of armored vehicles during assaults.

'The opponent understands that the survivability of equipment during assaults is quite short, so they are using more infantry groups and automotive equipment,' Muzichuk explained.

At the same time, Russian occupiers are actively using automotive technology alongside drones. There is also an observed increase in the use of electronic reconnaissance and warfare, which affects the course of hostilities.

Summary

Russian occupiers have reduced the use of armored vehicles due to the high risk of their destruction by Ukrainian drones while simultaneously increasing the use of automotive technology, drones, and electronic warfare means. This may indicate a strategic shift in the tactics of the Russian military in the conflict zone in Donbas.
