Ukrainian Military Can Change Place of Service Online: How It Will Work
From now on, guard members and servicemen of Ukraine can submit a request to change their place of service through the 'Army+' app. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Igor Klymenko, on Telegram.
'The government has simplified the procedure: quickly, transparently, without delays,' he emphasized.
According to Klymenko, the commander must respond to the request within 48 hours. If there is no response, the transfer is automatically approved. After that, there will be a verification by the personnel service (up to 7 days), and the order for the transfer will be provided no later than 30 days.
The request is submitted in the 'Change of Place of Service' section. The application must include a copy of the military ID, officer's identification, or National Guard service ID, as well as a recommendation letter from the unit to which the transfer is planned.
It is also worth noting that transfers from combat units to the rear are possible only based on the conclusion of the military medical commission (MMC), if the current position does not correspond to the serviceman's health condition.
It should be reminded that martial law and mobilization in Ukraine have been extended for another 90 days.
Ukrainian guardsmen and servicemen have gained the ability to submit requests for changing their place of service online through the 'Army+' app. This will simplify the procedure and help avoid delays in transfers. To obtain a new place of service, it will be necessary to add the relevant documents and obtain approval from the commander within 48 hours.
