A serviceman from Poltava region illegally traveled abroad: The State Bureau of Investigations announced suspicion

During 2022-2024, the woman left her place of service eight times and visited resorts in Montenegro and Poland while simultaneously receiving financial support from the military. This resulted in unjustified payments from the state budget of over 190 thousand hryvnias. The woman is accused of evading military service and fraud, which may lead to up to ten years in prison.

Employees of the State Bureau of Investigations, together with the military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine, announced suspicion against a senior sergeant of one of the military units in Poltava region. According to the State Bureau of Investigations, she illegally traveled abroad for vacation instead of performing her military duties.
