According to hvylya.net: State assistance for single mothers in Ukraine has been in effect since 2001. It is designed for those raising children without a husband or wife, including adoptive parents. Payments are possible until the child reaches 18 or 23 years old if they are studying, and can be combined with other types of child assistance.
However, there are some restrictions. Women who raise children in partnerships cannot receive this assistance. Additionally, families with high income levels or significant assets are not eligible for this state support.
