According to МЗС: The poems of Taras Shevchenko have always been a source of inspiration for Ukrainians. Serhiy Nighoyan, who gave his life during the Revolution of Dignity, read them in his voice in this video.
Ukrainian soldiers who liberated Balakliia in 2022 also used these words as a call to fight for freedom: 'Fight and you will overcome!' Today we honor those who have always stood and stand for the defense of Ukraine's freedom, risking their lives. Their heroism lives in the hearts of us, millions. Glory to Ukraine!
This news shows the immense influence that cultural heritage has on the Ukrainian people. They inspire and unite us, reminding us of the importance of freedom and the memory of those who fought for it.
