Korolenko Prepares to Become a Judge of the Appellate Court

Olexandr Korolenko explained his motives for wanting to become a judge of the appellate court. He indicated that such a position entails a high official salary and significant pension benefits.

«Why a judge? Because a high official salary is provided, a very high pension, and I possess the necessary knowledge,» noted Korolenko.

Korolenko stated that he previously earned 15,000 hryvnias per month. To overcome financial difficulties, he was engaged in writing dissertations on demand, dreaming of a trip to Thailand, purchasing an iPhone, and obtaining gear for hiking in the mountains.

Korolenko admitted that he wrote two dissertations for judges Vashchuk and Morozovska.

The temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada, led by people's deputy Serhii Vlasenko, initiated a criminal proceeding against officials of the High Qualification Commission of Judges.

His previous work brought less income, and thus he faced financial difficulties. Now, his activities have attracted the interest of the investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada because of his connections in writing dissertations for judges.
