Naftogaz Calls for the Installation of Gas Detectors: How to Protect Your Home

New device for gas stove
Нафтогаз закликає людей забезпечити свої домівки датчиками газу для підвищення безпеки.

The detector monitors the air quality in the room and, upon detecting a dangerous concentration of gas, activates a powerful audible warning, the company's representatives explained. Some models can also automatically prevent explosions or poisoning by shutting off the gas supply or activating ventilation.

The gas supplying company 'Naftogaz of Ukraine' recommends consumers to install gas detectors in homes with gas stoves. This is a necessary safety measure, as the risk of gas leaks is always present.
In addition, 'Naftogaz' continues the 'Fixed' tariff plan, according to which Ukrainians will pay 7.96 hryvnias per cubic meter of gas starting from October 1. This price is fixed at least until April 2026 and is part of the introduced moratorium on price increases.

'Naftogaz', together with international partners, ensures the stability of the heating season, having spent 2.5 billion dollars on gas purchases due to the destruction of its own natural gas production as a result of attacks.

Additionally, there has been a call from President Zelensky to Europe to cease imports of Russian oil and gas, as well as to accelerate the refusal of Russian gas by the European Commission.

The Ukrainian gas supplying company 'Naftogaz' emphasizes the importance of installing gas detectors to improve consumer safety and continues the 'Fixed' tariff plan unchanged until April 2026. Furthermore, the company is actively working on the stability of the heating season and taking steps towards the refusal of Russian gas, both internally and depending on the developments in Europe.
