The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachенко, expressed outrage at such driver behavior, stating that 'there should be no place for such behavior in the capital and throughout the country that daily fights for the right to survive.'

He also added that 'another driver decided to tempt fate and drift under the New Year's tree in front of the Opera House.' The situation indicates the need for enhanced control over compliance with traffic rules in cities.
