Volodymyr Ostapchuk has emigrated with his family to Canada

Ukrainian TV host Volodymyr Ostapchuk together with his wife Kateryna Poltavska and son decided to move to Canada. The main reason for this step is the child's safety and the desire to ensure a stable future. This is reported by Korrespondent.

According to Kateryna Poltavska, thoughts about emigration appeared a year ago, but the final decision was formed against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine.

An additional factor was the incident with the family's property, which she called the 'last straw'.

Among the main reasons for the move:

• the safety of the one-year-old son

• unstable situation due to the war

• the desire to plan the family's future.

Meanwhile, the couple emphasizes that they are not severing ties with Ukraine and are considering the possibility of living between two countries.

Ostapchuk's emigration: plans for life and work

Ostapchuk already has connections to Canada - he studied there earlier, and his children from a previous marriage also live in the country.

Despite the move, the TV host plans to continue his professional activity:

• to work as a host at private events in Europe and abroad

• is considering teaching after studying at a Canadian university.

The family is also gradually reviewing their assets in Ukraine. In particular, Kateryna Poltavska reported the sale of the car, gifted by her husband. Its estimated value is about 90 thousand dollars.
