Record evacuation from Kupiansk: family evacuated 28 times

According to glavcom.ua: A family from Kupiansk has been evacuated 28 times and is currently in Kharkiv, reports the leader of the public organization «Rose on the Hand» Oleksandr Humaniuk in an interview for «Suspilne». This elderly couple constantly planted potatoes and dug the garden, but had to leave due to the danger in the city.

«The record is 28 times. It's just summer. The elderly couple are really very nice people, but peculiar and with their own way of thinking. They planted potatoes, dug the garden, and all the time the husband moved along with us. We had a lot of arguments, but then we made peace and took him», said Humaniuk.

The volunteer said that the family called to request evacuation, and at one point even arrived at the rescue operation point on their own. However, as the situation developed, there are fewer and fewer civilians remaining in Kupiansk, and the authorities are urging people to leave the city while it is still possible.
