The enemy has intensified shelling in three border regions of Ukraine
According to hvylya.net: The State Border Guard Service reported an increase in the number of shellings in the territory of the Chernihiv region. Spokesman for the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko noted that shelling is taking place not only in Chernihiv region but also in Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
'In both Chernihiv and Sumy regions, as well as in Kharkiv, the shelling conducted by Russia on the territory of Ukraine has not stopped. Even when comparing the last period, the number of shellings in Chernihiv region has increased,' Demchenko said.
According to Demchenko, the enemy is actively using aviation to strike the territories of Sumy and Kharkiv regions. In addition to attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders, it is conducting targeted shelling of settlements, causing damage to infrastructure.
“In Sumy region, the enemy is using small infantry groups, however, the number of attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders has been less than before. The actions of the enemy have also not been successful in Kharkiv region,” Demchenko added.
With the intensification of hostilities in Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, it becomes evident that the conflict in eastern Ukraine continues, bringing suffering to the civilian population and threatening the security of the region.
