Lose 2000 UAH: the deadline for using funds for Health Screening 40+ is approaching

Ukrainians who received 2000 UAH in state support to participate in the "Health Screening 40+" program until May 1, 2026, have a few days left to use the funds. After June 30, unused money will automatically return to the state budget. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Who might lose 2000 UAH for the examination

The limitation applies to program participants whose funds were credited before May 1, 2026. Payment for a comprehensive medical examination must be made no later than June 30.

The Ministry of Health advises not to postpone the appointment until the last days. Before visiting, it is necessary to choose a medical institution that participates in the program and to register in advance for the examination.

If the funds are not used before the deadline, they will automatically return to the state budget without the possibility of being recredited.

New participants have changed rules

From May 1, 2026, the program will operate under updated rules.

Now Ukrainians aged 40 and older can:

• apply at any convenient time;

• register for participation through the app "Diia" or the administrative services center;

• use the funds within two months after they are credited.

If the money is not spent within this period, it will also return to the state budget.

What is included in the "Health Screening 40+" program

The program provides comprehensive preventive examination for people aged 40 and older. It helps timely detect cardiovascular diseases, assess the risk of developing diabetes, and check mental health status.

According to the Ministry of Health, more than 1 million Ukrainians have already applied to participate, and examinations can be done in 2227 medical facilities across the country.
