NBU gathers leaders of central banks of the world: what will be discussed at the workshop

Online workshop of the NBU 'Monetary Policy in Countries with Emerging Markets'

In a week, the online workshop of the National Bank of Ukraine will begin on the topic 'Monetary Policy in Countries with Emerging Markets: Evolution of Inflation Targeting'. Hurry up and register!

The main speaker at the event will be Erik Tedeen, the head of the Central Bank of Sweden, the first country in the world to implement inflation targeting. Representatives from the International Monetary Fund, European Central Bank, Bank for International Settlements, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, central banks of Ukraine, Armenia, and Poland, Bank of England, as well as universities from York and Chile, will also speak.

Federico Sturzenegger, Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation of Argentina, former head of the central bank of that country, will also give a keynote address. The NBU workshop on monetary policy is a traditional event at the end of the year, during which the main lessons, challenges, and prospects for the future are discussed.

The working language of the event is English.
