Categories of citizens entitled to discounts
Among those eligible for a 50% or full free travel, are victims of Nazi persecution, passengers with disabilities due to war, as well as children and accompanying persons. To obtain the benefit, it is necessary to have the relevant certificate confirming the right to preferential travel.
Other categories of citizens who can avail discounts
Throughout the year, children, students, combatants, and parents of servicemen can also enjoy discounts. Seasonal benefits will help balance citizens' expenses during the difficult autumn-winter period when the need for travel may increase.
The government has decided to introduce discounts on railway tickets for certain categories of citizens to facilitate their transportation accessibility and reduce expenses. This will allow the privileged categories of citizens to save money on trips, which will be an important enhancement of their social status and quality of life.
