According to hvylya.net: Ukraine is preparing to launch a new medical examination program for individuals aged 40 and older. In particular, early detection of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental disorders is planned.
'Cardiovascular diseases top the charts in all countries of the world as the leading cause of mortality, including premature causes of death. We... are taking certain steps for early detection of diseases to have the opportunity for their prevention,' explained Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.
Citizens who decide to take advantage of the program will have the opportunity to undergo a medical examination and receive free medications if necessary. The program will start on January 1, 2026, and communication regarding participation can be accessed through the 'Diya' application.
