Frontline Situation
According to Главком: Ukrainian forces engaged in 168 combat clashes over the past day. Russian troops continue their offensive with missile strikes, aerial bombardments, artillery fire, and ground assaults across multiple sectors. In response, Ukraine's defense forces successfully struck several enemy targets.
Yesterday, Russian forces launched one missile strike using four missiles and carried out 75 airstrikes, deploying 255 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they used 9,027 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,727 bombardments of Ukrainian towns and military positions, 86 of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.
According to reports, Ukrainian defense units-including aviation, missile forces, and artillery-struck the following:
- 6 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated,
- 1 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control point,
- 1 Russian command and observation post.
This reporting comes on the 1,490th day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, a conflict that continues to dominate European security concerns.
Areas of Russian Assault
Combat activity was reported across several fronts. On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, 13 clashes and 85 bombardments occurred, including 3 using MLRS. The South-Slobozhansky sector saw 5 assaults near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Starytsia, and Okhrimivka. In the Kupiansk direction, 6 attacks took place near Petropavlivka, Borivska Andriivka, Novoplatonivka, and Bohuslavka.
The Lyman direction experienced 5 attacks, particularly near Lyman, Dibrova, and Drobycheve. On the Sloviansk front, 7 attempts to advance were detected in the areas of Yampil, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Platonivka, and Riznykivka. The Kostiantynivka direction endured 17 assaults near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, and other settlements.
The Pokrovsk direction recorded 34 assault actions in the areas of Toretsk, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, and others. The Oleksandrivsk direction faced 10 attacks near Oleksandrivgrad, Stepove, Novohryhorivka, and Krasnohirske. The Huliaipole direction saw 18 assaults near Olenokostiantynivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, and other locations. The Prydniprovsky direction experienced 1 enemy attack near Bilohrudyi Island.
Russian airstrikes targeted a number of settlements, including Bachivsk (Sumy region); Prosiana, Oleksiivka, Ivanivka, Pokrovske, and Oleksandrivka (Dnipropetrovsk region); as well as Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhivska, Babashi, Danylivka, Zalyvne, Huliaipilske, Orikhiv, Dolynka, and Omelnyk (Zaporizhzhia region).
The frontline situation remains highly volatile, with continuous combat across numerous sectors. Ukraine's defense forces maintain an active response, striking Russian positions. This sustained intensity underscores the protracted nature of the war and its severe impact on civilians, who endure daily shelling and aerial attacks.
The ongoing conflict shows no signs of abating, as evidenced by the recent surge in combat activity. This latest escalation follows a previous day of intense clashes, where Ukrainian forces faced 130 engagements and significant Russian strikes.
