According to Главком: On May 27, 2022, the Ukrainian General Staff reported 256 combat engagements over the past 24 hours. Russian forces launched one missile strike, conducted 43 airstrikes, dropped 134 guided bombs, deployed 5,392 kamikaze drones, and carried out 1,929 shelling attacks on civilian settlements and Ukrainian military positions. As of 10:00 PM, the full-scale war has entered its 1,554th day.
Frontline Situation
The Pokrovsk axis remains the most intense area of operations. The enemy mounted 47 assaults, resulting in 41 occupiers killed and 12 wounded. During the fighting in this sector, Ukrainian forces destroyed:
- 9 vehicles
- 6 pieces of specialized equipment
- 1 ground robotic system
- 1 fuel depot
Additionally, the following were damaged:
- 1 tank
- 3 vehicles
- 1 piece of specialized equipment
- 2 artillery pieces
- 124 personnel shelters
- 1 drone command post
On the Pokrovsk front, 164 drones of various types were also destroyed or suppressed.
Fighting continues on other axes as well. On the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk fronts, there were 4 combat engagements, with the enemy conducting 51 shelling attacks, 4 of which used multiple launch rocket systems. On the South-Slobozhansk axis, Russian forces launched 10 assaults on Ukrainian positions. On the Kupiansk front, 5 attacks were recorded, with 1 engagement still ongoing.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian troops repelled 10 attempts to advance, while on the Sloviansk front, defense forces stopped 6 enemy attacks, with 1 engagement still in progress. On the Kramatorsk axis, 1 enemy assault was halted, and on the Kostiantynivka front, 12 attacks were repelled.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, 1 enemy attack was also stopped, while on the Huliaipole front, there were 27 occupier assaults, 5 of which remain ongoing. On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy attempted to advance 5 times.
According to the latest data, the frontline situation remains tense, and Ukrainian forces continue active operations to defend the country's territory.
