Russian Strikes Target 18 Settlements in Kharkiv Region Over 24 Hours

Attacks Across Kharkiv Region

According to Главком: Russian forces struck 18 separate settlements in the Kharkiv region over the past day, injuring two civilians. A 46-year-old man was wounded in the town of Velykyi Burluk, and a 50-year-old woman was injured in the village of Vyshnivka, part of the Kindrashivka community. Medical personnel also provided aid to a 65-year-old woman injured on March 29 by an unidentified explosive device in the village of Kurylivka, and a 58-year-old man who sustained injuries from shelling on March 24 in the village of Kolodyazne, part of the Dvorichna community. The Kharkiv region, bordering Russia, has been a focal point of intense fighting since the invasion began.

Drone Warfare and Infrastructure Damage

The attacks involved a variety of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including:

  • four Geran-2 drones,
  • one Lancet drone,
  • nine Molniya drones,
  • four FPV drones,
  • and 29 drones of a type yet to be identified.

Civilian infrastructure sustained damage across multiple districts. In the Bohodukhiv district, the following were hit:

  • a civilian enterprise in the village of Ivano-Shiychine,
  • a printing house in the town of Zolochiv,
  • an educational institution in the village of Bratenytsia,
  • a warehouse and a car in the village of Riasne,
  • and power grids in the village of Shuby.

Additionally, in the Kupiansk district, a garage was damaged in the village of Prykolotne and power lines were hit in the town of Velykyi Burluk. In the Izium district, a house and a car were damaged in the village of Poliana, and a car was damaged in the village of Fedorivka. In the Kharkiv district, power grids were struck in the villages of Dvorichnyi Kut and Ruska Lozova, two houses were damaged in the towns of Peresechne and Slatyne, a farm was hit in the village of Shovkoplasy, and a house along with two outbuildings were damaged in the village of Bezruky. A house was also damaged in the village of Lyman in the Chuhuiv district.

An evacuation transit point in the city of Lozova received 171 people over the past day. Since it began operating, this point has registered a total of 25,690 individuals. In a separate, large-scale attack on the night of March 31, Russian forces launched 289 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, Itlamas, and other types against Ukraine. As of 08:00, Ukrainian air defense reported shooting down or jamming 267 of these hostile UAVs. These sustained assaults underscore the severe pressure on Ukraine's defensive systems and civilian areas.
