The Life and Service of Oleg Vasylchuk
Oleg Vasylchuk was born in Kyiv on April 21, 1969, though his family later moved to Kostopil. There, he attended schools No. 4 and No. 5. After finishing school, he enrolled at the Rivne Institute of Water Management and Environmental Management. He married in 1990, and the couple had two daughters.
In 2020, Vasylchuk signed a contract for military service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, serving in the rank of Junior Sergeant. He trained as a communications specialist, and his service became a defining chapter in his life, marked by dedication and resilience. Following his death, he was laid to rest at the New Cemetery in Kostopil. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, a son-in-law, and a granddaughter.
