With the onset of the full-scale invasion by Russian occupiers, he continued to defend Ukraine on the fronts, particularly in Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk, and southeastern Slobozhanshchyna. Volodymyr served in the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of Transcarpathia and the 125th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade, where he established himself as a devoted and brave defender.

He is survived by a son, a wife, a sister, a brother, and a niece who will remember him as a hero who gave his life for peace and freedom in Ukraine.
