The fallen defender of Ukraine from Lviv region: what is known about Stepan Telychko

According to Главком: Stepan Telychko, a defender of Ukraine from the Lviv region, passed away on December 16, 2025. He was born on August 24, 1976, in the village of Torganovych in the Lviv region. Throughout his life, he went through a path that encompassed both educational activities and service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Education and Service

Stepan Telychko studied at Lviv Secondary School No. 44, where he received his basic education. After graduating from school, he continued his studies at the Vocational College of Information Technologies of the Lviv Polytechnic National University, where he obtained a technician's degree in telecommunications. This education became an important stage in his life and preparation for future events.

After obtaining his education, Stepan served in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Later, he became a participant in the anti-terrorist operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions as part of the military unit A1314 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For his bravery and dedication to his homeland, Stepan Telychko was awarded:

  • the insignia 'Participant of ATO'
  • the medal 'Veteran of War'

After his death, Stepan Telychko was buried at the Holoskivske cemetery, in the veterans' field 34-V. His life became an example of courage and service to Ukraine, and the memory of him will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and respected him.
