Western Ukraine Faces Combined Assault from the Russian Federation: Consequences (Updated)

According to glavcom.ua: The night of July 12 was horrific for the residents of Western Ukraine due to an enemy combined shelling. Russian terrorists attacked cities with strike drones and missiles, reports Glaсkom.

Among the cities that came under enemy fire were Lutsk, Lviv, and Chernivtsi. Air defense forces were actively used in these areas.

According to monitoring channels and local media, fires broke out in Lutsk due to the attack, and the city was enveloped in smoke. Furthermore, it is reported that shelling near the airport was recorded in Chernivtsi.

According to the Lviv Regional Military Administration, a two-story residential building was damaged as a result of the enemy attack. There was also a leak of gas and water.

Fortunately, preliminary data indicates that there are no dead or injured. No building fires have been detected. Currently, 20 rescuers and other emergency services are working at the incident sites.

Explosions in western Ukraine began around 03:00, with the enemy initially using strike drones and then deploying missiles against the cities.

As a result of the shelling in Western Ukraine, Poland has scrambled military aircraft.

Due to the activity of the Russian Federation's long-range aviation, which is striking targets located in western Ukraine, a Polish and allied aviation operation has commenced in Polish airspace.

The enemy attack on the western part of Ukraine caused significant material damage, but thanks to the quick response from Ukrainian and Polish military forces, it was possible to avoid human casualties and severe destruction.
