In July, apple prices sharply jumped, exceeding 100 hryvnias per kilogram. For example, in Auchan stores, the price of Aydared apples reached 119.10 UAH per kilogram, which greatly surprised consumers.

Compared to the previous year, in July 2024, apples cost only 31.50 hryvnias per kilogram. Such a sharp price increase becomes a problem for many Ukrainians.
