The Bethlehem Fire of Peace was brought to Zaluzhnyi: bright photos

Representatives of the scout organization 'Plast' handed over the Bethlehem Fire of Peace to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

In turn, the general signed a flag and a T-shirt for the scouts for a charity auction and presented sweet gifts. This was reported on Saturday, December 17, by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

'The Bethlehem Fire is currently a future light for the Armed Forces, which will simply be called Victory,' Zaluzhnyi commented on the event.

The Bethlehem Fire of Peace is an international scout event that takes place annually before Christmas. The main goal is to deliver the symbolic fire from the birthplace of Jesus Christ to all those in need. The fire is a symbol of good deeds and support.

On Sunday, December 11, the traditional transfer of the sacred Fire of Peace from Bethlehem took place at the 'Maly Berezny' checkpoint.

Candles and lamps were lit at the state border from the fire brought by scouts from Vienna to the Slovak checkpoint 'Ubľa'. Ukrainian scouts welcomed them on the territory of our state, reported the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The leadership and military chaplain of the Chop Border Detachment joined the event.
