According to МЗС: The ceremony for the stamp's cancellation was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Yevhen Perebyinis. The ceremony was dedicated to the memory of 23-year-old Czech volunteer Karel Kucher, who died in the battle for Bakhmut while fighting on the side of Ukraine as part of the International Legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the event held at the Central post office of Ukrposhta, those present honored the memory of the hero. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted that Karel Kucher gave his life for two countries - Ukraine and the Czech Republic. In addition to other high-ranking officials, representatives of the Ukraine-Czech Republic Friendship Group, members of parliament, and the author of the commemorative stamp idea were also present.
