Suspect in Andriy Portnov Murder Case Detained

According to Главком: German police have arrested an individual suspected of murdering Andriy Portnov, a former advisor to ex-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. The fatal incident occurred on May 21, 2025, near the entrance to a school in the Madrid suburb of Pozuelo de Alarcón, where Portnov sustained multiple gunshot wounds that led to his death.

The arrest took place in the city of Heinsberg. According to reports, the suspect shot the victim in the chest and head. At the scene, Portnov was pronounced dead from injuries deemed non-survivable, resulting from four shots to the chest area and one to the head.
