Prosecutor's Office Eliminates Dumping Site in Obolon: 2.5 Hectares of Land Cleared

In Obolon, Kyiv, it was possible to get rid of the unauthorized dumping site thanks to the actions of the district prosecutor's office. The land plot, covering 2.5 hectares, which was to be used for agricultural activities, was littered with construction and household waste, violating environmental laws.

After the company that owned this plot ignored the requirements of regulatory authorities to clean up the waste, the prosecutor's office decided to file a lawsuit for the forced liquidation of the dumping site.

At the court hearing, the company decided to voluntarily comply with the prosecutor's requirements and remove the waste.

Thus, thanks to the joint efforts of the prosecutor's office and the court, it was possible to clean the land plot in Obolon from illegal pollution.
