The Ukraine U-20 basketball team lost to Latvia in a friendly match

According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian U-20 youth team lost to Latvia in a friendly match with a score of 78:83. This was the fourth game in preparation for the European Championship in Division A. Our boys showed good performance in rebounds but fell behind in turnovers and accurate shots.

The standout players for the Ukrainian team were Luka Lokhmanchuk, who scored 17 points, and Maxim Klychko with 15 points. Daniil Sipalo and Yegor Sushki also nearly recorded double-doubles. In previous matches, the team won against Estonia and Georgia.

On June 10, the Ukrainian team began preparations in Lithuania for the European Championship. The coaching staff is working with 16 players, of which only 12 will make the final roster for the tournament in Greece.

At the European Championship, all 16 teams will go through the group stage, after which the playoffs will begin. The best will compete for medals, while the worst will fight for the right to remain in Division A.
