Zelensky informed Merz about the coordination of the bill on the independence of anti-corruption bodies
According to hvylya.net: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had negotiations with the Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz, during which he informed about the coordination of a key anti-corruption bill and discussed current issues of support for Ukraine.

The head of state emphasized that he has already coordinated the text of the bill, which should guarantee the independence and effectiveness of anti-corruption institutions in Ukraine. It is important that the anti-corruption bodies supported this bill.
'We all agreed that there should be no interventions or influences from Russia on the work of our anti-corruption infrastructure,' noted the president.
Zelensky suggested that Germany participate in the expertise of the bill, to which Merz responded with a readiness to help.
European integration and military support:
The parties discussed the implementation of agreements with the European Union and work on opening the first negotiation cluster. The president noted Germany's absolute support on this issue.
The situation at the front and the need for additional funding for the production of drones were also raised. Zelensky emphasized the need to increase their number, especially interceptors.
Guarantees of the independence of the law enforcement system:
The president had previously reported on the coordination of the text of the bill that is aimed at ensuring the real strengthening of the law enforcement system in Ukraine, the independence of anti-corruption bodies, and reliable protection against Russian influence or interference.
'The most important thing is real instruments, no Russian connections, and the independence of NABU and SAP,' emphasized Zelensky.
The bill is expected to be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine soon.
