Zelensky on personnel changes: new heads of regional state administrations in five regions and proposals for Fedorov and Budanov
Personnel changes in regional state administrations
According to ХВИЛЯ: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the continuation of personnel changes at the level of regional state administrations. In particular, it concerns new leaders for:
- Vinnytsia region
- Dnipropetrovsk region
- Poltava region
- Ternopil region
- Chernivtsi region
Final decisions on candidates are expected to be made tomorrow, and the new heads of regions will begin to fulfill their duties as early as next week.
Changes in the defense sector
In addition to changes in regional administrations, Zelensky also proposed Mykhailo Fedorov to head the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Furthermore, Kyrylo Budanov has been proposed for the position of head of the President's Office. The main tasks in Budanov's new position are defined as security, development of the Defense Forces, and diplomacy.

Modernization of military education under the curatorship of Pavlo Palisa is also planned.
The circle of candidates for the new positions has already been defined, which indicates the government's activity in implementing personnel decisions.
Personnel changes at the regional level and in the defense sector may indicate the desire of Ukrainian leadership to adapt to modern challenges, particularly in the context of ongoing war. Appointing new heads of regions and key positions in the Ministry of Defense may strengthen coordination between the regions and the central government, as well as ensure more effective management in the unstable situation in the country.
