Zelensky Held a Meeting with Intelligence Reports: Key Topics of Discussion
According to hvylya.net: President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on July 25, during which an ambitious plan for the production of interceptor drones of 500 to 1000 units per day was approved. The head of state announced this at the end of the 1248th day of the war.
Participants in the meeting listened to reports from the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and the Military Intelligence about the challenges facing Ukraine in the summer and autumn periods, as well as Russia's intentions. Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky presented information on the situation at all fronts, focusing on the Pokrovsk direction.
'I ordered to prepare the Technological Meeting – regarding drones. There is an approved plan – to produce 500-1000 interceptors per day, which is very challenging,' the president emphasized.
In addition, Zelensky visited a company that produces interceptor drones and expressed gratitude to the team of developers. He also noted that the state fully finances the production of various types of drones.
In the context of military actions, the president noted the continuation of operations in Sumy along the border and expressed gratitude to the units operating on Russian territory. The Minister of Defense reported the receipt of assistance from partners and ensured reliable supplies of weapons for Ukrainian warriors.
Zelensky also visited the medical center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where rehabilitation of wounded servicemen is carried out, and awarded servicemen with state awards. Furthermore, the head of state announced the preparation of documents to confer the title of Hero of Ukraine to several Ukrainian soldiers.
'We continue communication with all partners, so that this summer we do not lose a single day that could increase pressure on Russia,' the president noted, expressing gratitude to European leaders and the United States for supporting pressure on the aggressor.
Support for the production of interceptor drones and recognition of Ukraine's defenders are important aspects of the government's activity in the context of the pandemic and war.
