The women's national team of Ukraine achieved historic success

Ukraine has risen to first place in the world ranking among national teams competing for the last spot in the Nations League.
The fate of our team was determined by the game between Puerto Rico and Mexico. The team from Puerto Rico could have overtaken Ukraine in the world ranking if they had won 3:0.
However, Puerto Rico defeated Mexico only in five sets with a score of 3:2. These points were not enough for the Puerto Ricans to surpass our team.

The Ukrainian team played their last match against Canada, losing with a score of 1:3. This result meant that the Ukrainians did not advance to the playoffs in their debut season.

Due to Puerto Rico's victory over Mexico with a score of 3:2, the Ukrainians managed to maintain their first place and step onto the international stage of competition. Meanwhile, the men's national team of Ukraine, while not advancing to the playoffs of the 2025 Nations League, demonstrated its potential and readiness for further competitions. The Ukrainians have six wins in 12 matches, indicating that they can be serious competitors for other opponents.
