Star forward of Sporting refuses to play for the club - Media

According to glavcom.ua: Sporting's striker Victor Dykayresh has refused to return to the Portuguese club for pre-season training. The 27-year-old forward is dissatisfied with the comments made by the club's management, reports Glavkom citing Record.

President of Sporting Frederico Varandas previously stated that he would not allow the player to leave for a lower amount than specified in his buyout clause (60+10 million euros). It is reported that Dykayresh threatened to publicly express his opinion on the current situation and no longer intends to play for the club.

The contract with Victor Dykayresh runs until the summer of 2028 with Sporting. Media reports that Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in the forward. Last season, Victor participated in 52 matches for Sporting, scoring 54 goals and making 13 assists.

Preparation of Dynamo for the Champions League

In the second qualifying round of the Champions League, Dynamo will play against the winner of the pair Zalgiris (Lithuania) - Hamrun Spartans (Malta). Matches of this stage are scheduled for July 22/23 and 29/30, which will be the first official game for Dynamo in the new season.

The first match will be away for Dynamo, and the second match will be at home for the Kyiv team.
