Ukrainians in Poland were explained what to do if they accidentally find money - for example, on the street of the city. According to local legislation, found money must be returned to its rightful owner. This applies not only to cash but also to other found items.

If the money you found exceeds 100 zlotys, you are obliged to try to find the owner. If he cannot be found, you can hand the item over to the police. This will help avoid problems in the future. But if the money is less than 100 zlotys, it is not mandatory to hand it over to the police.

In the case of found money or valuable items, it is better to act according to the law - try to find the owner or hand the item over to the police.

Remember that if the owner does not claim the lost property within two years, it may become yours. However, if the found items have historical or archival value, after a certain period, they will pass into state ownership.

Ukrainians in Poland must comply with the laws of the country in case of finding money or other valuable items. Found items should be returned to the owner or handed over to the police to avoid possible problems in the future.
