Ukrainian Zlata Zaitseva became the world champion in aerial gymnastics in Argentina

According to glavcom.ua: The world championship in aerial gymnastics has concluded in Buenos Aires (Argentina). 18-year-old Ukrainian Zlata Zaitseva became the world champion in the 'fabric' discipline, surpassing athletes from Mexico and the USA. This is a huge success for Ukraine in this sport.

We are also pleased to report that Ukraine took 10th place in the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival. Our team won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, making this performance the second most successful in the history of Ukraine's participation in the Festivals.

This is the second most successful performance of Ukraine in the entire history of its participation in the Festivals, starting from 1993! The 'blue-yellow' team won more medals only in 2019 - then there were 25 awards.

The team earned the most medals in judo, but our athletes also performed successfully in swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, gymnastics, and table tennis.

World Summer Universiade

The World Summer Universiade has concluded in Germany, where Ukrainian athletes demonstrated a worthy result. The Ukrainian team won 12 medals: 4 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze. Ukraine took 14th place in the overall medal ranking, and before the end of the competitions, it was possible to earn another bronze in the 20 kilometers race walking.

The result:Ukrainian athletes showed impressive results at international competitions. The medals won indicate the high level of training of Ukrainian athletes in various sports. We hope that this positive trend will continue in the future.
