He made this statement during a discussion organized by the Yalta European Strategy initiative and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation ahead of the international conference on Ukraine's recovery URC-2025, reports Ukrinform.

Kellogg emphasized the critical importance of restoring Ukraine, drawing parallels with post-war Europe. 'And I think we should do the same for Ukraine,' he stated, simultaneously warning that this will be an extremely challenging task.

Kellogg assessed the current situation as extremely difficult, emphasizing the need to achieve a ceasefire. He highly praised the actions of the President of Ukraine and his team, noting that a ceasefire could be a step toward ending the conflict.

Appeal to Ukrainian military

Kellogg paid special attention to the topic of returning Ukrainian children and noted that this issue had been discussed by President Donald Trump and President Volodymyr Zelensky.

In concluding his speech, the special representative of the President of the USA addressed the Ukrainian soldiers present in the hall: 'What you are doing today will become a legend tomorrow.'

Earlier, Zelensky spoke with Kellogg about strengthening anti-submarine measures and new sanctions against Russia.
