Ukraine Strikes Ammunition Depot and Command Centers in Russia’s Belgorod Region
Successful Operations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
According to Главком: Ukraine’s General Staff has confirmed targeted strikes on an ammunition storage site in Russia’s Belgorod region, as well as on command centers and logistics hubs in both occupied territories and inside Russia itself. These operations destroyed drone control posts and inflicted significant personnel losses on enemy forces.
During the campaign, Ukrainian troops hit an ammunition depot near Prokhorovka in Belgorod Oblast. Additional strikes eliminated a logistics hub close to Fedorivka in Donetsk region, along with supply depots in Mykhailivka (Luhansk region) and Hynivka (Zaporizhzhia region). Command centers were targeted near Mykilske and Shevchenko Pershe in Donetsk, as well as in Naumovka (Belgorod Oblast) and Iskra (Kursk Oblast, Russia).
Drone Control Centers Neutralized
Notably, Ukrainian forces also took out unmanned aerial vehicle command posts located near Shevchenko Pershe (Donetsk), Zaliznychne (Zaporizhzhia), and Oleshky (Kherson region). During these operations, concentrations of enemy personnel were identified in several areas of Donetsk, including:
- Kurakhove
- Kalynove
- Shevchenko
- Stupochky
- Novohryhorivka (Zaporizhzhia)
- Iskra (Kursk Oblast, Russia)
Russian forces have recently intensified their activities, ramping up artillery strikes and kamikaze drone attacks along the southern front. The situation has become particularly volatile near Huliaipole, where the number of combat engagements has surged. Since the start of the year, Ukrainian troops have liberated over 600 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory.
These strikes underscore Ukraine’s continued military campaign deep inside occupied areas and within Russia, highlighting the growing ability of its armed forces to carry out strategic missions. With Russian troops stepping up operations in the south, the front remains highly tense, and future moves by either side could significantly shape the conflict’s trajectory.
These recent strikes are part of a broader strategy by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to weaken Russian military capabilities. In a similar operation, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully targeted a fuel depot and warehouses in Crimea and the Donetsk region, further demonstrating their commitment to disrupting enemy supply lines.
