According to Главком: A 16-year-old from Kryvyi Rih has been formally notified of suspicion for hacking into automated postal terminals. The suspect created a program to bypass payment systems, causing estimated losses of nearly 500,000 hryvnias. The notification was issued on March 27.

According to investigators, the teenager used his programming skills to gain unauthorized access to the postal terminals. He meticulously studied the algorithm of the official delivery service's application, which enabled him to develop software that circumvented the standard payment process. The application closely resembled the official one and granted access to the system, allowing parcels to be marked as paid and released without any actual payment being made.

The notice of suspicion was coordinated with the Kryvyi Rih Central District Prosecutor's Office. The charges are based on multiple articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including parts 1 and 2 of Article 361, part 4 of Article 185, part 2 of Article 15, and part 4 of Article 185.
