The world has celebrated a remarkable anniversary - 100 years since the birth of the outstanding philosopher, sociologist, and social theorist Zygmunt Bauman. The scholarly insights of this thinker explored the issues of modernity, consumerism, ethics, anti-globalization, and the Holocaust. He emphasized in his works the fluidity and uncertainty of the modern world, which he referred to as 'liquid modernity.'
Zygmunt Bauman left behind over 57 books and more than 100 articles, including 'The Holocaust's Relevance' and 'Ethics in Postmodernity.' His academic legacy received recognition worldwide, from Poland to the United Kingdom and the USA.
