Ukrainian Veronika Matyunina wins bronze at the World Table Tennis Championship

Ukrainian table tennis player Veronika Matyunina won a bronze medal at the World Championship for under 19 in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca. Her high ranking allowed her to compete in three categories, and her successful performance in doubles together with Hanna Hoda earned a bronze medal for the team. The Ukrainian team also participated in the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing in 10th place in the overall medal standings, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.

Successes in Various Sports

Ukrainian athletes also showed good results in judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, rhythmic gymnastics, and other sports at the World Summer Universiade, collectively winning 12 medals. They continue to compete and win in various international competitions, raising the flag of Ukraine high.
