According to Главком: Ukrainian forces engaged in 201 combat clashes over the past day, responding to a wave of enemy airstrikes, artillery barrages, and ground assaults across multiple sectors. In retaliation, Ukrainian units struck seven areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, along with one key target. This intense level of fighting underscores the relentless pressure Russian forces are applying along the vast frontline.
The enemy launched 92 airstrikes, deploying 257 guided aerial bombs, and utilized 8,273 'kamikaze' drones. Throughout the day, Russian troops also carried out 3,844 artillery and mortar attacks on Ukrainian settlements and military positions, including 96 bombardments using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Areas of Attack
- On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted 115 artillery attacks, 14 of which involved MLRS. Six airstrikes using 20 guided bombs were also recorded here, alongside two ground clashes.
- On the South-Slobozhansky direction, Russian forces made 19 attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses, while 11 assaults were recorded on the Kupiansk axis.
- On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 18 times. Ukrainian forces halted 12 attempts to advance on the Sloviansk axis, and repelled two attempts by Russian troops to improve their tactical position on the Kramatorsk axis.
- In the Kostiantynivka direction, 25 enemy assaults occurred, while on the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 30 enemy storming operations.
- On the Oleksandrivsk direction, the enemy attacked nine times, while no storming actions were recorded on the Prydniprovsky (Dnipro River) direction.
This fighting marks the 1,486th day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. Despite the constant assaults, Ukrainian forces continue to defend their territory. The frontline situation remains difficult, with persistent enemy attempts to break through Ukrainian defensive lines.
