The government discussed a new IMF program and reparations loans with donors
On November 24, a meeting of the Governing Committee of the Ukrainian Donors' Platform took place in Kyiv. Government representatives, along with international partners, discussed the progress of reforms, the Euro-integration process, budget support, energy, the private sector, and veteran policy.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko noted: 'We are working together to make decisions regarding reparations loans and a new IMF program for the future.' The government presented key priorities of state policy and measures for improving the management of state enterprises in the energy and defense sectors to international partners.
Donor Platform
The platform unites 25 permanent members (Ukraine and G7 countries), temporary participants, as well as seven international financial institutions and organizations. Serhiy Marchenko, the Minister of Finance, is the co-chair of the Governing Committee from Ukraine. The Office of Reforms of the Cabinet of Ministers performs the functions of the Ukrainian part of the Secretariat of the Platform.
The Ukrainian Donors' Platform is an important tool for cooperation between Ukraine and international partners in the financing of reforms and the development of the country.
