According to Мінфін: At just 29, Yuliya is a manicure master who successfully operates thanks to the internet and the approval of her clients. She earns about 25,000 hryvnias each month, totaling 75,000 hryvnias per quarter or 300,000 hryvnias per year.
To work officially and pay taxes, Yuliya registered her activity as a 1st group individual entrepreneur. Every quarter, she submits her tax declaration through the 'DiiA' app and makes the necessary payments.
If Yuliya receives payment for her services to her personal card or in cash and does not declare it, it means she will evade paying taxes on her income. As a result:
- The military won't receive enough equipment
- Children in daycare may suffer
- Public social funds remain empty, so Yuliya may not receive social benefits if needed
