Fuel prices in Ukraine are expected to rise in the coming months, but experts urge not to panic. According to forecasts, by the end of the year, the cost may increase by 3-4 hryvnias per liter, especially for diesel fuel. This increase, according to specialists, is mainly related to external factors rather than an increase in fuel demand.
One of the reasons is EU sanctions, which have led to turbulence in the European oil products market, from where a significant portion of fuel is imported to Ukraine. In addition, the shortage of diesel fuel in Europe has arisen due to strikes by Ukrainian military forces on Russian oil refineries and other circumstances that have led to a decrease in the supply of this type of fuel.
Experts predict that by the end of the year prices may remain stable, but with the introduction of planned excise increases next year, fuel is expected to become more expensive as early as December. Therefore, it is important not to panic and refrain from excessive purchases.
